One way publications sell advertising space is to agree that if the advertiser purchases the ad, he will also receive a certain amount of free editorial space. This free editorial space essentially doubles the amount of space you get for a given amount of money. This editorial space is devoted to an article about the company or individual or product, and it has the added cachet of seeming to be work of an outside source. The editorial company be written by the publication staff, or the advertiser may provide the copy.

Press releases can be another excellent source of free space. A well-written press release on an interesting subject will attract the editor's interest. The editor may even follow up with a phone call for more details. The result can be anything from a paragraph to a feature article. All this comes for the price of mailing the release. Keep in mind that you want to target the publication that write about the kinds of things you are doing.

Many telephone call-in shows will take calls from entrepreneurs with interesting products or stories. First and foremost, create backups of the critical data and applications you have running on your web site. You never know when your web server may crash. Even the most stabilized managed hosting systems fall prey every now and again to system glitches and / or hacker entries.

Store your online web site data on an independent computer, and make flash drive backups of phone numbers, contact information, sales receipts, invoice data, catalog entries and the like. Typically, you should back up at least once a month. However, if you are running a web site that generates high volume business or if you’re working on a less than optimally stabilized server, you might speed up your back up protocol to once every week.

In addition, download all of your latest web site data onto a safe location before you begin tweaking with the content, layout, navigation, and back end architecture. When you have a latest draft of your web site saved, you don’t have to worry about accidentally losing your “starting place.” Moreover, you can then show your different web site drafts to customers, associates, and focus groups to determine how the differences between versions impacts perception.

Developing solid links to field leaders can help your search engine rankings and give you a degree of cachet as a legitimate source of info about your area of expertise. However, links can go bad -- often, without any warning. Double check and even triple check your links using professional link checking software. For an added layer of protection, visit each one of your links in person to make sure that your partner sites continue to provide useful information. Remember that if you link to insubordinate or irrelevant web sites, the search engines may downgrade your ranking.

Don’t “throw out the baby with the bathwater” when maintaining your web site. Keep your style whenever possible. Imagine the update from the customer’s point of view. Post all updates on your homepage, so that web site visitors can view them and make comments about the enacted or proposed changes. Make sure your copyrighting keeps its “voice” as the written brand of your company.

Build and buffer your SEO optimization tactics. Refresh your Pay Per Click and Pay For Calls keywords based on new monthly data. Add relevant, completely novel pages of content to help generate SEO-grade. Pay attention to what industry rivals do with their SEO, and coordinate your strategy accordingly.

General Online Marketing, Promotion, and Web Site Marketing Tutorials, and Tips

3 Simple Rules for Creating an Effective USP (Unique Selling Proposition)
“You have one, whether you know it or not. And this without a cost!

  1) Swap an ad with another ezine, that has a comparable subscriber base, and be sure to promise in the ad that you will give a FREE gift to the new subscribers. Sit back and watch the traffic flow in :-)

  2) Subscribe to several mailing lists, and post questions, answer other questions, and be sure to include your well designed signature file.

3) If you have an ezine, always give something away for FREE to your readers with every new edition, like a screen saver, an e-book etc... They'll love you for it!

  4) Explore all the different Usenet groups , BBS's and forums that are of interest to you, and post or answer questions, with inclusion of your sig file. Or better: write an interesting article (like this :-) and send it to an ezine with a huge subscriber base. You'll become known soon...

  5) Write a positive note to another ezine editor or webmaster. They like that, and maybe they'll include your comment in their publication. If so, ask if they will place your sigfile beneath it. I have a list for you to pick out at: http://www.theweirdsite.com/advertising.htm

7) If you have a web site, set up a reciprocal link page, and trade links with sites that are of similar interest with yours. Write the web master a nice letter and ask him for a reciprocal link. You may lose visitors by having their link on your site (they will leave anyway!), but you'll win visitors from your link on their site! It's a win win situation!

  8) Submit your ezine or newsletter manually to all the major Search Engines. Take care of your Meta Tags! Place the "Title" tag before the "Name" and "Keywords" tag or your page will be neglected! Front Page 98 automatically places the "Title" tag behind the other tags when it saves a document, so before you save your HTML in FP98, copy it, paste it in a plain text editor like Notepad, and only save it from there! This is very important!

  9) Place a 'Subscribe Now' box on your web site, and ask visitors to fill in their email address -nothing more! Explain that the email addresses will be hold in complete privacy, and offer a FREE gift for new subscribers. Send them the URL where they can download their gift after they have subscribed.

  10) Add a contest in your ezine; offer a FREE gift when a subscriber ask 2 or 3 of his friends/associates to subscribe to your ezine. Let the contest be date limited, that way they'll hurry up :-)

marketing and advertising tips

how to write a strategic marketing plan or business strategy, marketing and advertising tips, internet and website marketing tips

A simple guide to marketing, strategic business planning, advertising and promotion and sales lead generation, for small UK businesses especially. With tips and techniques for advertising and PR, for non-marketing managers, and for marketing and advertising professionals too; this is marketing and advertising made simple. Also some easy tips on website design, internet advertising and marketing.

While much of this marketing theory page was written a while ago generally the principles apply just the same, if fact many of these basic pointers are good reminders of some of the simple things that are easy to overlook in these modern distracting times.

Incidentally, where references are made to the UK there will commonly be equivalent methods and processes and suppliers that are applicable in other countries.

a fundamental aspect of modern marketing

First, here's something that is fast becoming the most fundamental aspects of marketing to get right, especially if you want to build a truly sustainable high quality organisation (of any size) in the modern age:

Ensure the ethics and philosophy of your organisation are good and sound. This might seem a bit tangential to marketing and business, and rather difficult to measure, nevertheless...

Price is no longer the king, if it ever was. Value no longer rules, if ever it did. Quality of service and product is not the deciding factor.

Today what truly matters is ethical and philosophical quality - from the bottom to the top - in every respect - across every dimension of the organisation.

Modern consumers, business buyers, staff and suppliers too, are today more interested than ever before in corporate integrity, which is defined by the organisation's ethics and philosophy.

Good sound ethics and philosophy enable and encourage people to make 'right and good' decisions, and to do right and good things. It's about humanity and morality; care and compassion; being good and fair.

Profit is okay, but not greed; reward is fine, but not avarice; trade is obviously essential, but exploitation is not.

People naturally identify and align with these philosophical values. The best staff, suppliers, and customers naturally gravitate towards organisations with strong philosophical qualities.

Putting a good clear ethical philosophy in place, and communicating it wide and far lets people know that your organisation always strives to do the the right thing. It's powerful because it appeals to people's deepest feelings. Corporate integrity, based on right and good ethical philosophy, transcends all else.

And so, strong ethics and good philosophy are the fundamentals on which all good organisations and businesses are now built.

People might not ask or talk about this much: the terminology is after all not fashionable 'marketing-speak', nor does it correlate obviously to financial performance, but be assured; everyone is becoming more aware of the deeper responsibilities of corporations and businesses in relation to humanity, and morality, the natural world, the weak and the poor, and the future of the planet.

Witness the antagonism growing towards certain multi-nationals. People don't rail against successful corporations - they rail against corporations which put profit ahead of people; growth ahead of of society and communities; technology and production ahead of the natural world; market domination ahead of compassion for humankind. None of this is right and good, and these organisations are on borrowed time.

People increasingly prefer to buy from, deal with, and work for, ethical, right-minded organisations. And whether an organisation is ethical and right-minded is becoming increasingly transparent for all to see.

So be one.

Aside from which - when you get your philosophy right, everything else naturally anchors to it. Strategies, processes, attitudes, relationships, trading arrangements, all sorts of difficult decisions - even directors salaries and share options dare we suggest.

And it need not be complicated. The ultimate corporate reference point is: "Is it right and good?... How does this (idea, initiative, decision, etc) stack up against our ethical philosophy?"

Organisations are complex things, and they become more and more complicated every day. A good ethical philosophy provides everyone with a natural, reliable reference point, for the tiniest detail up to the biggest strategic decision.

So as you start to write your marketing plan, be it for a new start-up, a huge corporation, or a little department within one, make sure you put a 'right and good' ethical philosophy in place before you do anything else, and watch everything grow from there.

Need to advertise on web – visit EASYWEBADVERTING.com

If you require advertising on web than you have visited the accurate web site because, Easywebadvertising.com gives information about web advertising in easy way. Besides making a lot of Yahoo investors richer, this may have great impact on the landscape of online ads. An MSN-Yahoo combined market share would reach 38.4 percent, but still trail behind Google’s strong 48.3% market dominance.

The MSN-Yahoo merger would mean better technology expertise from Microsoft and better media expertise from Yahoo. The combined strengths of the two will be an awakening for Google, whose performance continues to surpass analyst expectations. Yahoo has never really been viewed as a technology company and this combination can provide the company with the technical strength needed to properly challenge Google.

Recently Internet advertising companies have been gobbled up as competition stiffens. Google is buying DoubleClick and Yahoo is taking in the remainder of Right Media that it doesn’t already own. 24/7 Real Media, ValueClick, and aQuantive are also on the acquisition radar.

How do I sell advertising on my website?

How do I make money from my homepage? How can I sell banner ads? How do I get started in online advertising?

On the surface these all seem like simple questions. The reality though is that there are a whole range of options out there available to you. No single one is the correct answer. Let's simplify things a little bit by assuming you have one banner ad per page on each page of your site.

There are essentially four ways to sell advertising on your site:

1. Flat Rate – The advertiser pays you flat rate to display their advertising on your site for a certain period of time.
2. CPM – Cost Per Thousand. The advertiser pays you a certain rate for every 1,000 ad impressions.
3. CPC – Cost Per Click. The advertiser pays you a fee every time a user click on one of their advertisements.
4. CPA – Cost Per Acquisition or Cost Per Action. The advertiser pays you a fee every time a user click on their ad and continues onto their site and performs an agreed upon action. This may be purchasing a product, registering for a newsletter, or any other action that has value to the advertiser.

Regardless of how you choose to sell ads on your site, the way you will track the value of each ad unit will be by calculating your effective CPM. If you sold your banner ads on a flat rate basis for $1,000 and served 100,000 pages, your effective CPM for that ad unit is $1,000/100 (since CPM is per THOUSAND page views) = $10 CPM. If you sold your ads on a CPC basis and got 200 clicks at $0.25 each or $50, your effective CPM is now $50/100 = $0.50 CPM.

As a publisher, your goal is to maximize the value you receive from each web page of your site. This value is called the RPM or Revenue Per Thousand Page Views. RPM is the basic metric online advertising operations executives use to gauge the health of their ad sales.

RPM is the basic metric online advertising operations executives use to gauge the health of their ad sales.

To calculate RPM you add up the effective CPM of each ad unit on a page. For instance, if you had three ad units on a page selling for $3, $5, and $10 effective CPM's, then your RPM would be 3 + 5 + 10 =$18 RPM. Another way to calculate RPM is to take the total dollars earned from your site and divide by the number of page views. For instance if you know you made $5,000 in one month and displayed 100,000 page views, your site wide RPM is $50.

We increase RPM over time by selling a variety of ad types and using a variety of targeting criteria. To get started, first you must attempt to establish an RPM floor for your site. It's a great way to gain experience and get free traffic.

Here are some approaches to successful forum marketing:

1. Answer questions. If you're an expert on the topic, you can easily help people who ask questions in the forum.

2. Ask a question. If you need an advice on a topic and visit a related forum, you can posts your questions there with a signature file linking to your website. This is a quick and legitimate way to add a lot of posts to any forum.

3. Ask for a critique. Say you write an article and post it in your blog. Make a quick post to ask what people think. You'll not only get exposure for your signature but you will also get some good advice.

4. Ask for an opinion. If you come across a product or service and want to research it first, forums are a great way to get direct feedback. For instance, you could make a post that says, "Has anyone had any experience with this product...?" It's that simple.

5. Offer an article. You wrote an article, published it to your blog, and asked for a critique in the forums. Now go back and make a post offering your article for publication with the condition that they leave your resource box intact.

Blogging

unique content creation
Blogging is one of the easiest and most effective way to market and advertise any product.

Using awesome and free web applications like Blogger and Wordpress anybody can start blogging immediately. Blogs are like online commentary on subjects such as food, news, personal interests, health issues, product reviews and so on. Think of it as an online journal that you can update, add entries, add pictures and links at anytime and anywhere.

Due to the nature of blogs being updated frequently and providing information in a more personal atmosphere, they are quickly indexed by the search engines.

You can use blogs to provide more information, news, updates and so on regarding your websites and products with relevant links to your sites and other product recommendations.

People love reading blogs and can easily find them because they are easily indexed in the search engines as providing personal and relevant information to a particular topic.

Blogs comes in many forms such as text blogs, photo blogs, video blogs and audio blogs. An example of two of my personal blogs can be viewed at Hydroponic Gardening and The Vege Place.

Using blogs to link back to your site and products also increases the page ranking and relevancy of your website.

You can also learn more about marketing with blogs by visiting Website Promotion Tips. If you sign up to enough of those sites and use plenty of tags for each link it can do wonders for your sites traffic and link popularity.

Most social bookmark websites have a high pagerank so they will get your site spidered and possibly ranked higher.

It is recommend that you use these bookmarking sites in moderation and not over-post your links on each site. This will be viewed as spamming and likely they would cancel your account.

To fully understand web 2.0 and social bookmarking with the help of videos and get a comprehensive list of sites, visit the Social Bookmarking, Networking, News and Content Sites lens.

Billhartzer.com has a list of the top 130 social bookmarking sites that you can review. Many require downloads to use and so you might not be using all of them.

I use OnlyWire.com and PostToaster to automate my social bookmarking submissions. Through OnlyWire and PostToaster you can submit your websites with description and keywords to 64 social bookmarking websites in 30 seconds.

Article Writing and Submissions

Write your way to fame, traffic and profits
If you are not already writing articles and submitting to article directories, you are missing on the potentially best way to get people to your website.

You should frequently write articles on subjects related to your websites and submit them to the various free article directories online.

To learn the importance of writing articles for traffic and fame and also for a comprehensive lists of article directories please visit the Article Submissions Directories lens.

Press Releases
Press Releases is another surefire and free advertising way that will help bring targeted visitors to your websites.

Go to PRweb.com and look over how people write press releases / reviews. Imagine writing something from the perspective of a newspaper column. Where it's 3rd person just giving the facts. You should include the selling points as benefits or features. That way they don't seem like a straight sales pitch. You'll get a much better response like that where you just trying to provide quality information, and not looking for a sale.

PRLeap is another good free press release website you should submit your press releases to. Additionally you can do a Google search for additional press release websites.

If you are looking for a Step-by-Step Blueprint to Press Release success then you really need to check out Press Release Fire and Traffic Blitz to create perfect press releases.

Two SEO Advertising Information Tips

Dont fall into the trap of only optimizing the homepage. Create a keyword phrase for every page of your website. To understand why this is important, you need to know how search engines index. The search engines dont index websites, but web pages from websites. One page on a site with a good keyword phrase can help a site to compete for a less competitive keyword phrase. Users clicking on the link in the search engine are then directed to your site from where they can browse through the rest of the pages. Only optimizing the homepage will not help a website to gain top ranking.

Conduct proper keyword research. Optimizing the web pages for keyword phrases which users are likely to use when they search for information to be found on your website, are the ones you should use. If you for instance, provide fax2mail services, the chances are good that users will type in electronic faxing service rather than fax2mail when they do searches at Google or Yahoo. The keyword selection is thus important. This type of advertising information as provided at e-Traffic is vital to the success of your online marketing campaign. The e-Traffic site is the best place to find advice on online marketing since we have been active in this field for almost a decade.

E-commerce Advertising Information Available at E-Traffic

Vital data such as the amount spent on online marketing by US companies, which came to an average of around $71-72 per user in 2006 can also be found at the e-Traffic site through informative articles. E-Traffic provides clients cost effective solutions to move their main business to the Internet. With secure payment systems, visitor tracking and web statistics analysis offered, more and more businesses create effective e-commerce marketing campaigns through the use of e-Traffic.

Where Online Advertising Fails: The Future of Web Advertising

A huge proportion of tech news has to do with online advertising: studies on its efficacy, technologies for serving ads, ad revenue ups and downs, and acquisitions having to do with any of those. The reality, however, is that we don't know much about how to really leverage online advertising, and we have a lot to learn.

What set me off to begin with was an opinion piece on WSJ.com by Esther Dyson, which hovered near getting it, but ultimately missed by a mile. Ms. Dyson made the point that the "traditional" online advertising is fading, but asserts that advertisers' audience members are best accessed in social communities, and that data will ultimately be compiled and disseminated to advertisers by ISPs. As much as I think any ISP would love to get their hands on that sort of ad revenue (as noted by the newish hijacking of my URL typos by Time Warner Roadrunner), it's impractical. How can you assume that the same person is always using the same IP? Are all ISPs going to move to a static IP addressing scheme? What about VPN clients and WiFi access points and mobile browsing? There are too many holes in this concept for it to work until they can track me by serial number on the plug in my head. Three UK ISPs are willing to give it a try, however.

The formation of quadrantONE completely misses this boat, and somehow thinks that trying to compete with Google in the blanket-your-ad model still makes sense. The main problem with newspapers as they exist now is that they are still in the business of trying to have something for everyone, and aren't able to sort content for readers. I'd be far more willing to subscribe to an online newspaper that customized content specifically according to my needs (and feel free to subsidize part of the cost with targeted ads) than I am for a paper copy that arrives in my box every morning with last night's news and ads I never even see. Of course, quadrantONE took some of their advice from Nielsen, who can't even manage to figure out if advertising actually accomplishes anything, so that may have been their first problem.

Ms. Dyson was right, however, when she said that the current model is losing ground. Google themselves saw a dip in their share of the U.S. ad market last quarter, and while they are still performing well, there is already a trend to head more toward niche marketing. Vertical ad/content networks like BlogHer and Glam.com are already eating into Google's model in small bites. What makes more sense as an advertiser? Buying your AdWords and splashing them over how many thousands of sites where people are already immune to seeing the same ads (yelling smilies, anyone?), or focusing your efforts on a specific area of content that appeals to your target demographic?

Here's what we do know: the people who are clicking through on ads aren't the people advertisers really want to go after. A joint study by comScore, Starcom, and TACODA recently discovered that over 50% of click-thrus are from 6% of the online population, and that 6% skews toward a household income under $40,000. In other words, not the people who are going to be doing a lot of online shopping.

The traditional ad folks like Google and Yahoo are trying something new in going to video, with Google testing video ads and Yahoo snapping up Maven. Other ad companies like Gorilla Nation also think that video ads are the next wave in advertising. And of course, we have the social networking idea, which is being flayed virtually everywhere. People don't go to social networks to shop; they go to socialize.

The reality, however, is that if users aren't clicking through ads as they are now, why on earth would they click to sit through a video ad? This is old-school advertising, designed for a time when television also served all things to all people and you sat through commericial breaks instead of fast-forwarding with your DVR. Niche cable networks have found success providing a smaller, more concentrated market for advertisers, and online companies are following suit. GoFish has launched an ad/content network geared at children and teens, while MTV Networks (which also owns Nickelodeon) acquired a whole parenting content network in Babunga.

But even in a combination ad/content network model, an assumption is made about the audience. Fashion and gossip web sites must be read by women. Tech sites must be read by a predominantly male audience. The ads are still going to be fairly predictable, and ignore those outside the "typical" demographic. So who really has the right idea?
Amazon has the right idea, that's who. With their latest move, testing ads, I'm convinced that Jeff Bezos is a genius. Amazon has all the information at its fingertips that Beacon went so very wrong with, and they have been very upfront about collecting it. They have your purchase history dating back to your very first purchase on the site, and display it for you right in your account. They have a wide variety of products from nearly every possible retail market, from groceries to media to electronics, and with the addition of merchant storefronts through the Amazon system, they increase that data set. Who knows you better than Amazon, and who could target you better? They already show you what other people who've purchased what you purchase. The make product suggestions based on your purchase history. Serving the ads will only take it a step further, providing advertisers with as targeted an audience as they could get, and reducing the amount of ad noise you are subjected to. They may or may not succeed, but at least they are on the right track. Imagine Amazon tied into your content network. It may be a little Big Brother-esque, but it's an advertiser's dream.

Internet Advertising on MSN-Yahoo?

The latest word on Internet advertising consolidation: Rumors has it that Microsoft is putting together a $50 Billion bid for Yahoo, the number two player in the Internet advertising space.

What is online advertising?

Online Advertising is all about advertising over the World Wide Web.

Online advertising can be broken down into a few key areas of interest. These areas of interest are not exclusively the only areas of online advertising available to you, however they represent the most popular items on the online advertising menu.

1. search advertising: 40% of the total spend last year, or $6.76 billion. This relates to keyword based search engine optimization and paid advertising via pay per click campaigns. The three biggest sources of this type of advertising are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. There are plenty of additional smaller pay per click advertsing sources but the big three represent 95% of the market (or more). The beauty of search engines is that they make it so easy to purchase traffic, either directly from them or from their affiliate sites. It really makes online advertising a question of click, setup, and pay. All you need to do is select the appropriate keyword(s) for your service offerings, select the geographic region you want to service and away you go. Note that search advertising is paid per visitor so if your ad is not clicked on you pay ZERO. Experts refer to this type of advertising as performance based since the search engine needs that click to be paid. And you will not make any sales if nobody comes to your site so it benefits you to go with this pay per visitor type of advertising.

2. display ads: 22% of the total spend last year or $3.72 billion. Banner or contextual advertising is still popular and is priced out on a cost per thousand impressions. Here you rent space on a web site and if you get lots of visitors to your site great since you pay for the space and not for the visitors. This is a risky way to advertise but there are plenty of places to get CPM deals and sometimes these deals work better than per visitor paid search advertising.

3. classified advertising: 18% of all spending last year or just over $3 billion dollars spent on classified advertising. So next time you say classifieds are not for your company or service offering you better think again. In terms of dollars spent last year classifieds came in at roughly half of the amount spent on keyword based search. Classified ads run at a cost per space and not for visitors directed to your website.

4. lead generation: 8% of all advertising spending last year, or over $1.35 billion dollars. It is interesting to see Google use lead generation in some cases since we all know Google is getting short changed on their paid advertising (per click), and you know what? All the search engines are getting short changed on their pay per click services. Don't be surprised if one day the search engines come out with a revenue sharing model for their high end PPC customers. That will be the day we all start purchasing search engine company stock. Is 500% ROI a normal rate of return for PPC advertising? We would argue that is a tiny bit one sided.

5. rich media: 7% of all spending last year or $1.183 billion dollars. This sort of relates to display ads, except that these ads are video targeted and most networks know that the targeting aspect alone will improve conversion rates. In advertising the better the targeting the higher value and the greater the advertising revenues. Could this be why Google bought youtube for over $1.5 billion dollars?

6. email: holding on at 2% of total online advertising last year. Hard to believe email advertising accounted for $338 million dollars in revenues last year. That is a lot of money spent on email advertising. Click here for some very interesting online email promotions.

Well folks the third quarter 2007 online advertising results are out - and they are up significantly from the same period for 2006. What does this mean for you and me? Nothing. But what this means for the industry is that more and more advertisers are looking at the Internet as a viable place to spend their advertising dollars.

Internet advertising revenues exceeded $5.2 billion for the third quarter of 2007, representing yet another historic high for a quarter and a $1.1 billion increase, or 25.3 percent, over Q3 2006. The results, published in the IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report, are nearly 3 percent higher than Q2 2007, itself the last record-setting quarter. All three quarters in 2007 have set new highs—Q1 at $4.9 billion, Q2 at $5.1 billion, and now Q3 at $5.2 billion. Revenues for the first nine months of 2007 totaled $15.2 billion, up nearly 26 percent over the $12.1 billion recorded during the first nine months of 2006.

Imagine if your income went up by 26 percent in the first nine months of this year compared to last year - do you think the real estate industry would like a one percent increase? You know the shareholders of Google and Yahoo and Microsoft must be thrilled with this news.

IAB president and chief executive Randall Rothenberg said: The continued growth of online ad revenues clearly illustrates how advertisers are more comfortable spending large sums via this medium, and given the ever-changing landscape of new platforms and technologies that enrich interactive advertising guarantees that this growth trend will continue for quite some time.

Peter Petrusky of PWC said the results were particularly impressive considering the size of the online advertising revenue base in the first place. In other words we are talking THREE billion dollars more spent so far this year compared to last year. More good news for online advertising.

Web Hosting & Advertising Information

Have you ever noticed the size of a typical website's media kit? Immediate, interactive and effective, online advertising is an affordable alternative to traditional -- and typically more expensive -- advertising vehicles such as newspapers, magazines, radio, TV and direct mail. For many companies advertising on the Internet, old media is out and new media is most certainly in.

Advertising on the Internet is about more than being innovative, though. At its core, online advertising is also about being relevant. Sure, advertising online will earn your business a gold star in technology, but that's just the beginning. At its best, online advertising has numerous benefits that will help you set your business apart from its competitors both online and offline. Among those benefits:

1. While online advertising attracts new customers, it also builds loyalty among existing ones.
2. Highly targeted, online advertising is ideal for reaching niche audiences with specific and actionable messages.
3. Because it's interactive, online advertising is especially suited for up-selling.
4. Advertising on the Internet allows you to collect and analyze results in real time.
5. Advertising online exposes you to new markets; you don't have to find them because they'll find you.
